There are a few men in this world that will definitely get my vote…lol. Alright I’m
not going to leave you guessing; one of the few is Rockmond Dunbar; ok I can hear
you asking who is that. Remember ‘C-Note’ from the series Prison Break, or ‘Pookie’
from the series ‘The Game’. Yes, there you go, now you have my vision.
I was delighted to hear that he would be apart of the Iphias International Film
Festival offering his skill set and networking with aspiring filmmakers through
workshops offered by the festival. He has high hopes of working in Jamaica, but I can
tell you this; Rockmond seemed to have fallen in love with Jamaica so much he
proposed to his now wife, the beautiful actress and writer Maya Gilbert on
December 30, 2012 in Montego Bay. Don’t think it, I’m not Jealous! Lol.
Rockmond has definitely showcased great production and love for films over the
years and for this his presence and participation in the Iphias International Film
Festival is one that I am personally excited about.
